Goût et Voyage was founded by Martine Bertin-Peterson to bring together her lifetime passions of travel, cooking and culture. Creating unforgettable memories, Martine serves as the escort for all Goût et Voyage culinary travel adventures and serves as chef de cuisine for the Goût et Voyage cooking classes. The signature program, "Taste of Provence" is now offered in English and as a French immersion experience, "Taste of Provence, en français"
Martine’s background and experience are as wide-ranging as her interests. She has decades of culinary experience gained through formal and informal cooking courses in the United States, France and Italy. Born in France and fluent in 5 languages, Martine has traveled to more than 50 countries across 5 continents. She has escorted travel groups throughout Europe and Latin America over the past 25+ years.
Martine honed her client relationship, marketing and finance skills through a variety of entrepreneurial and executive positions working for IBM, Dow Jones and Accenture. Martine established The Peterson-Cody Gallery, a nationally recognized fine art gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She has always loved to share her knowledge and experience with others and has been an adjunct professor and frequent lecturer on marketing, business, languages and the arts at conferences, colleges and universities across the US and Europe. Martine currently teaches management and marketing courses at the School of Business of The College of New Jersey.
Martine holds an MBA in Finance and an MA in French Literature. She is President of the Alliance Francaise of Doylestown, PA. She currently resides in Doylestown with her husband who, along with her NYC-based daughter, are regular and willing subjects for her travel and culinary adventures.
