Even though opera houses and show venues are closed and lockdown measures are on to try and curb the coronavirus pandemic, the Paris Opera continues to live!

Starting from March 17th, 2020 at 7:30 p.m, Paris Opera and CutlureBox websites have decided to provide in turns –  free access and free of charge – major opera classics from the institution’s archives.

How does it work? From March 17th at 7:30 p.m., Paris Opera and Culturebox websites will put a performance online available for six days. At the end of the period, the show will be replaced by another performance and so on until May. Shows available

  • Don Giovanni (2019): from March 23rd to 29th
